Food Carnival – 26.1.16
The word charity stirred the heart of everyone. Parents, children, and teachers actively participated preparing variety of mouthwatering food and dishes. The amount collected was donated in kinds (Betsheets and Mats) to the inmates of Deenabandhu Asram Walaja.

The children in traditional attire were ebullient and charmed the occasion with many events like games, dance, speech, etc.
Annual Day Celebration 2015-16
Blossoms (29.12.2015) & Twilight Delight (30.12.2015)
Each one has potential. Great occasions like annual day rouse children to some kind of greatness and provide a platform to exhibit their talents. Ms. Sherine David, French Teacher, was the chief guest for Blossoms and lighted kuthu villaku. Dr. Fehmida Visnagarwala, M.D., M.PH., was the chief guest for Twilight Delight and lighted kuthu villaku. Academic of excellence was awarded to the students who shine in all fields. Our children enthralled the audience with their wonderful performances on both days (see photos in photo gallery page).
Christmas Celebration – 2015
All religions lead to one god. This concept was revealed thro’ a skit by students. The student in Santa Clause attire enticed everyone.
Maths Day – 2015
Sri Ramanujam the incredible Mathematician and the pride of the Ramanujam Number 1729 was remembered on 22nd December with exhibits based on his calculations and theories.

The Tejas Trust Members of Batch of 1893 of Stanly Medical College and Vedanikethan Team had extended their hands in the efforts to help the needy people who were badly affected by flood.
Deepavali Program – 2015
Naraga Chathurthi, the demise of evil, blossoming of good deeds and thoughts and festival of lights was celebrated with fun and frolic.
Rejuvenation Camp – 2015
Our staff had been to Mysore in the month of September for two days to recharge themselves and get rejuvenated. They had a wonderful and cherishable moments.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Birthday and Handwashing Day – 2015
Tributes were paid to Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India. Quotes from his life, his achievements, his love for the student community, his dream of India were shared on that occasion.
World Students Day as declared by UNO and Handwashing Day were observed with absolute involvement of the students.
Onam Festival – 2015
Onam, the festival of Kerala was celebrated with a speech signifying the importance of the festival.
School Election – 2015-16
Election for SPL and ASPL was conducted on 17th August 2015 in our school campus. N. Hariharan of XI Std was elected as the SPL and Y. Amreen of IX Std was elected as ASPL through a democratic process of secret ballot votes cast by students of III Std to XII Std.
Education Science Tour – 2015
Gaining knowledge through practical experiences is ever remembered. Visiting places of nature enrich students’ awareness. The experience our children gained visiting Amirthi Forest is unforgettable. They enjoyed the god’s creations with awe.
Teachers Day Celebration – 2015
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan’s birthday was celebrated along with cultural programs and awards to the Teachers who are the pioneers of our institution. The teachers whose efforts brought laurels in public exams were recognized in a fitting manner.
Guru Poornima – 2015
Everyone who leads us or shows their finger to guide us during our lifetime is our guru. Due respects if given to our gurus, no doubt will take us to greater heights. Guru is like a full moon having knowledge bestows his blessings to all. Great reverence was paid for gurus who emit light of knowledge to the universe.
69th Independence Day – 2015
Dr. A. Parameshwaran, M.B.B.S., Chief Medical Officer, PHC, Timiri, hoisted our National Flag. His speech on leaders who fought for our freedom enthralled the students and teachers.

International Day of Yoga – 21st June 2015
Yoga is an ancient Indian Traditional art which keeps one fit. It is like a mirror to know the soul, mental and physical strength.
YOGA is being followed as a curriculum for the children of VNHSC since 2010. Mrs. Manila teacher Asanas nurtures the significance of YOGA in the young minds. Today (21.06.15), being an International Day of Yoga, children performs many Asanas that will keep them young with no ailments.
