Vedanikethan Matric Higher Secondary School, Arcot, organized a one-day program on Educational Psychology for the teachers of Vedanikethan and Picushion school. Ms. Sudha, the Principal of Vedanikethan addressed the gathering and the whole session was systematized by Mrs. Usharani, M.Sc., Counselling Psychologist. In that session, she spoke about student psychology and how it was influenced by parents and teachers. She started giving lectures related to co-ordination of subject knowledge and subject interest. She also discussed how language learning impact other subjects and challenges faced by teachers in classrooms. She advised the teachers, to nurture the young minds with positive aspects and furnished some tips over control of emotions. She extended her discussion about Types of Multiple Intelligence which is very much helpful for the teachers to do their profession more effectively. Later Mr. Kesavan, the Vice-Principal ended up the session with his vote of thanks.
